Couzin’s Café
Couzin’s is the perfect breakfast and brunch spot for those wake and bake days. Located in Kirkland’s Harmon Ridge neighborhood, Couzin’s Café offers up a selection of specially made, cooked-to-order pancakes, waffles, omelets, and breakfast classics. If you’re more on the lunch side of brunch, Cory’s B.O.M.B. Burger is literally stuffed with bacon, sautéed onions, mushrooms and bbq sauce: a great dish to sit and savor while you’re stoned. But get there early: Couzin’s is open from 6:00 to 3:00 on most days except Friday, when they close at 9:00pm.
Corazon Azteca
If you’re looking to add a little spice to your high, look no further than Corazon Azteca. This food truck will fill you up while pleasing your tastebuds like no other. The Vampiro tostada will do you in with its deliciously tender steak drizzled with cheese. Or, try their cheese crusted asada burrito and wash it down with a cool and refreshing coconut horchata. And don’t worry, you won’t have to go chasing this fabulous food truck around: it’s put down roots on NE 85th street, by the Amazing Heroes comic book store.
The Box & Burgers Eatery
When you’re stoned and starving with a group of friends, it can be hard to choose the right cuisine to satisfy everyone’s hankerings. The Box & Burger has your back. The Box fuses classic American eats with Asian flare. Try their stellar Asian-inspired fare like the BiBimBap and Miso Hungry burgers, or delicious Asian dishes like Chicken Karaage and Kimchi Fried Rice. The Box used to be a staple of the Kirkland food truck scene, but now you can enjoy their mouthwatering burgers and dishes at their brick and mortar establishment in the Totem Lake plaza.
Izumi
Izumi is a traditional Japanese restaurant with some of the highest quality fish and ingredients imaginable. Good sushi tastes good anytime, but while you’re high, Izumi’s is something divine. Come hungry, because Izumi serves up unbelievable sushi platters, sukiyaki, noodles, hot pot and so much more. It’s so good, there’s often a wait time to get in. Don’t worry about it though, because with our new Evergreen location opening up right around the corner, you can come on by and stock up before you dine!
The Lime
If you want to find a great place to hang out, listen to some live music, and eat great food while the edibles kick in, head on over to The Lime. Located about a block away from the Costco, The Lime offers up an amazing array of pub food and bar eats just waiting to be chowed on. Nothing beats a cheesy quesadilla, ultimate nachos and a plate of wings during a great high.
Sirena Gelato
Have you ever smoked a delicious strain, enjoyed the warmth and the high, and immediately followed it up with a taste of deliciously cold dessert? The heavenly combination of weed and ice cream is one for the ages, and no one does gelato better than Sirena Gelato. Come in for an assortment of high quality dairy-free flavors and top them with some whipped cream and sprinkles. If you’re up for it, go all out with a sorbettini or an entire gelato cake!
