Keep Your Tolerance Down & Your High Up!
After possibly decades of cannabis enjoyment, you may start to feel it takes more weed to get high thanks to your tolerance levels. We know this can be frustrating, not only on your wallet but on the experience as a whole. Here are three easy tips to adopt that may help get that tolerance back down and elevate you to the top!
Start later
We all know how tempting that wake and bake can be. But if you don’t need it, try and wait until later in the afternoon to toke up. You know that 4:20 is always a great hour to look forward to and celebrate the end of a workday.
The later you wait, the more weed you can save, which helps in keeping your tolerance down. Over time, you may save enough money to take a trip to a place like Amsterdam and try some European ganja!
Switch it up
Whether it’s with a different strain to make sure your body doesn’t get too attached to one set of terpenes, or with a new delivery method, there are many ways you can get THC into your system that isn’t just smoking or eating it. Play around with different vendors and product types. Getting yourself elevated in a variety of ways allows for the cannabis high to be different each time, allowing you to feel the effects more!
Try Micro-dosing!
Micro-what? Yes. We said it! Although it may be hard to digest this idea at first, micro dosing is a great experiment to see how high you can really get off of just one hit, for example. Micro dosing is often discussed when speaking about edibles, but you can also take a small or smaller hit, which could account for a similar affect when smoking or vaping.
You will notice the biggest difference if you try this with a top shelf product, like flower, that is potent to start. Just have some patience for those creeper strains. You may be a one-hit wonder after this experiment!
Whether trying a tincture to get the day started, hitting your vape pen throughout the day instead of that bong all day long, or just a cup of coffee to start until work is over so you can really indulge, there are many tips to try that can help keep your elevation high without sacrificing an arm and a leg. We hope these give you a few ideas…
