420foodie refers to cannabis consumers who love to cook and/or eat food infused with weed. These edibles include baked goods, sauces, dips, candy, butter, oils and much more. Many 420foodies are gourmet chefs and most simply enjoy creating tasty dishes using marijuana. These consumers also tend to post photos of the foods they have either created or consumed on social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Snapchat. 420foodie pronounced FourTwenty Foodie was derived by the cannabis term 420. This term refers to 4:20pm when pot smokers consume and celebrate smoking weed. It also refers to April 20th, the date that the 420culture celebrates cannabis and smoking marijuana.
